New Family Feud on Facebook: What are Tokens and how are they used?

Q. What are tokens?

  
A. Tokens are a form of virtual currency that Feuders can purchase with Facebook credits. These tokens can be used to purchase Episodes and Power Ups, as well as to enter Classic and Tournament mode.
    
You can use Tokens to: Purchase Gameplay, including Classic Play and Tournament Play. 

 
 
"New" Feud players can choose to play Classic Mode for 250 Tokens, or a handful of Tournament Modes. Each Tournament mode requires an entry fee of Tokens to play. If you win 1st or 2nd place, you’ll be rewarded with a Token prize. 

 


Purchase Power-ups-You can use Tokens to purchase Power-ups that will help you play the game. Power-ups can only be used once during a round, and are only active you have enough tokens to purchase them. Power-ups can help you make it through a difficult round. 
 
 

 
Q. Why do I have to pay to play now?  





A. Tokens have been implemented to replace Episodes so that Feuders can easily earn and purchase currency with which to play. You will receive at least enough tokens to play 1 game every 12 hours by spinning the Daily Spinner! You could even spin and win even more tokens to spend on more games. 

 
Q. Where are my episodes? How do I know how many games I have to play?   


A. Your Episodes have been converted to the equivalent number of Tokens. There is no longer an Episode count available, so your Token Balance can be used to determine how many Episodes you can play. For example, if you have 500 tokens, you can play 2 episodes!

 
Q. What if I don't want to buy Tokens?
 
A. If you want to earn tokens instead of purchase, there are many ways to earn them.

    
Ways to Earn Tokens:
 
 
1) Spinning the Daily Spinner-Win tokens during one of your daily spins. You can win 250, which is enough tokens to play one episode, or you can even win enough to play even more than one per day! 

 
2) Classic Play - You can earn 5 tokens for every right answer in Rounds 1-4.

 
3) Tournament Play - You earn token prizes for placing 1st or 2nd in Tournament Play, including Challenge a Friend.

 
4) Collections - You earn tokens for successfully unlocking Collection stages.
